About Disco Nap Herbal Tea
Disco Nap Herbal Tea is a beautifully balanced botanical blend crafted to provide gentle energy without the buzz. Hibiscus lends its bright, tart jewel tone and antioxidant richness, while peppermint and spearmint awaken the senses with fresh minty clarity.
Warm notes of cinnamon and lemongrass weave through the cup, adding layers of flavor that soothe and enliven in equal measure.
We source the vast majority of our herbs from small, organic farms, honoring both taste and sustainability, quality and potency. Whether steeped hot or infused cold, Disco Nap supports your wellness – boosting antioxidant intake, aiding digestion, and lighting up your afternoon with rose-colored vitality.
What's in a Name: Why We Named it Disco Nap
This tea blend was born of a desire for something super delicious and healthy, playfully energizing and uplifting, and completely appropriate for sipping on mid-day when more caffeine isn’t ideal.
Disco Nap Herbal Tea earned its name because just like a disco nap before a night out on the dance floor, this tea is equal parts restorative and re-energizing. Without caffeine, it won’t keep you up all night, but the bright and uplifting flavors of the herbs in this blend put a little extra pep in your step.
(The days of disco were long gone before us, but we love the saying so much, we’re carrying its spirit into today’s world. Fun fact: Disco Nap Herbal Tea is not only our best-selling tea, it’s also the tea that starts the most conversations when we catch our customers at in-person events. People love the name as much as the taste!)
The Benefits in the Brew!
This hibiscus tea latte isn’t just pretty; it comes packed with benefits that make every sip worthwhile. While you’re sipping on your latte, you’re also sipping on these health benefits:
- Rich in antioxidants – Hibiscus is loaded with vitamin C and flavonoids that support your immune system and overall immune resiliency by helping to mitigate oxidative stress caused by all the seen and unseen stressors we face every day.
- Supports heart health – Both cinnamon and hibiscus are potent allies for heart health. The results of a 2014 study suggest that daily consumption of hibiscus tea may be effective in reducing blood pressure in pre- and mild-hypertensive adults. And due to its compounds cinnamaldehye and cinnamic acid, many studies have demonstrated the ability of cinnamon to also help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
- Caffeine-free calm – Perfect for afternoons or evenings when you want something cozy without the jitters. Disco Nap Herbal Tea contains both peppermint and spearmint which are considered to be gentle stimulating nervines, helping to nourish and support the central nervous system in a way that can help to restore and bring balance to the body. While some nervines are more sedative in nature, the mints are more energizing.
- Naturally hydrating – It’s basically a delicious way to drink more water.
- Mood-lifting ritual – Taking the time to brew, steam, and sip is a grounding practice that brings joy beyond the cup.
Add in the gentle floral notes from Disco Nap Herbal Tea, and you’ve got a drink that’s both nourishing and indulgent.

Need a reminder that wellness doesn’t have to be bland and that simple pleasures (like a steaming pink latte in your hands) are worth savoring?
You’re 3 ingredients away. Let’s get to brewing!
Equipment You'll Need:
- Small saucepan
- Fine-mesh strainer
- Optional: milk frother
- Your favorite mug
Ingredients:
- Disco Nap Herbal Tea
- Milk of choice (We used half full-fat coconut milk and half organic soy milk for a rich and creamy non-dairy option.)
- Water
- Optional sweetener: honey, maple syrup or your preferred sweetener (We stirred in a dollop of our Charmed & Delighted Herbal Honey Electuary for extra plant power.)
- Optional garnish: powdered cinnamon or hibiscus, edible flowers, sprig of mint
Method Overview:
- Make a strong tea. Heat water to boiling and pour over loose-leaf tea. Cover and allow to steep for at least 10 minutes.
- Warm the milk. While the tea is steeping, gently warm your milk of choice. Then, if desired, use a milk frother to whip it up into a nice frothy foam.
- Strain the tea. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the tea into your favorite mug.
- If desired, sweeten. Stir in your sweetener of choice. (Note that the hibiscus & cinnamon in Disco Nap make this tea naturally a little sweet already.)
- Add warmed milk. Gently swirl in your warmed milk. (Note that the natural acidity of hibiscus may cause the milk to curdle a bit. Just give it a good stir.)
- If desired, garnish. A simple sprinkle of cinnamon or dried edible flowers goes a long way in bringing extra joy to a delicious herbal tea latte.

1 cup (8 fl. oz.) filtered water
1/4 cup (2 fl. oz.) milk of choice*
1 Tablespoon Disco Nap Herbal Tea
1-2 teaspoons sweetener of choice, or to taste — optional**
Sprinkle of powdered cinnamon, hibiscus, edible flowers, or a sprig of mint — optional garnish
Directions
Make a strong tea. Heat water to boiling and pour over loose-leaf tea. Cover and allow to steep for at least 10 minutes.
Warm the milk. While the tea is steeping, gently warm your milk of choice.* Then, if desired, use a milk frother to whip it up into a nice frothy foam.
Strain the tea. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the tea into your favorite mug.
If desired, sweeten. Stir in your sweetener of choice.**
(Note that the hibiscus & cinnamon in Disco Nap make this tea naturally a little sweet already.)
Add warmed milk. Gently swirl in your warmed milk.
(Note that the natural acidity of hibiscus may cause the milk to curdle a bit. Just give it a good stir. Alternatively, make this as an iced latte.***)
If desired, garnish. A simple sprinkle of cinnamon or dried edible flowers goes a long way in bringing extra joy to a delicious herbal tea latte.
Hot Tips:
- * Milk — We used 1/2 full-fat coconut milk and 1/2 organic soy milk for a rich and creamy latte. Cutting the thick & creamy coconut milk with soy milk is a great way to tone down the richness of coconut milk.
- ** Sweetener — The hibiscus and cinnamon in Disco Nap make this tea naturally a little sweet. However, you may prefer to tone down the tartness of hibiscus with a little added sweetener. If so, we highly recommend a small dollop of our Charmed & Delighted Herbal Honey Electuary. Otherwise, plain honey, maple syrup, or your own homemade botanical syrups are great options.
- *** To make this as an iced latte, brew the tea hot, stir in your sweetener until fully dissolved, and then pour over ice. Top off with cold frothed milk.
